Third Culture Tales Amsterdam
January 23, 2025
On January 23, 2025, Third Culture Tales arrived in Amsterdam, taking over Noord Space for an intimate night of storytelling and artistic expression. The event, which reached full capacity weeks in advance, brought together a dynamic group of storytellers and performers, each offering their own perspective on the third culture experience.
The storytellers for the night took the audience through a journey of identity, humor, and resilience. Geri started off a unique dimension to the evening, recountign experiences that tied together themes of cultural fusion. Mohna continued the evening with a comedic take on migration, sharing stories of cultural clashes and personal reinvention that had the room laughing and nodding in recognition.
Aryeh both told a story and serenaded the audience with music, weaving together memories of home, travel, and what it means to belong. The night ended with a performance from Ghazaleh, bringing the energy full circle and leaving the audience with a powerful reflection on identity and movement.
Amsterdam welcomed Third Culture Tales with open hearts, proving once again that no matter where we go, our stories unite us. If you weren’t able to join us this time, keep an eye out—there’s always another tale to be told.
